FOUR STAR certification in The OSTERIO Group's Practical Governance and Risk Management™ (PGRM) concepts will establish the holder as competent in assessing and building cost effective risk based controls into the complex business processes prevalent in today's companies.

The FOUR STAR program builds on our 2-day PGRM seminar training series. FOUR STAR takes the PGRM concepts to the actual implementation stage on the most difficult of processes. Holders of FOUR STAR certification will be trained and certified in maneuvering through the political issues at the Governance level and the real world resistance to change challenges at the Management level. FOUR STAR receipients will be able to identify and drive cost savings, as well as improve the controls in the complex processes at the Performance level.

The FOUR STAR program is an intensive, hands-on implementation dealing with real business risk and control and process issues. All applicants will be required to undertake an entrance exam to verify their base knowledge. Once accepted, applicants will participate in a rigorous 3-day training program with multiple exams that, if successful, certify them in:

• Complex business process trouble shooting and correction,
• Working with VPs to establish effective Governance over business operations,
• Developing Governance structures that best suit unique environments,
• Developing and implementing the business risk monitors at the Management level,
• Troubleshooting business units that are experiencing excessive errors, problems and failures,
• Setting up Management Control Structures and testing them to verify that business risks are being managed to within Governance accepted limits,
• Carving complex processes into cradles and graves to quickly perform performance level control reviews,
• Linking business problems to specific control failures at the Performance level,
• Identification and presentation of cost saving opportunities for Governance action,
• Fast and cost effective SOX404 implementation

The FOUR STAR program has been developed at the request of our Preferred Customers to provide the extra level of comfort in manager's ability to drive the actual control improvements and cost savings that the PGRM concepts can deliver. While participants in the PGRM seminars may understand the Governance, Management, and Performance concepts very well, their ability to actually drive business improvements varies considerably. Preferred Customers wanted a way to filter out those that have the ability to drive the concepts into the business and identify those who are not interested or do not have the skill levels to effectively apply the concepts.

The FOUR STAR program is an intensive 3-day training session. Not all participants will graduate.
